At Garrido’s we care about you and our community, and we want you to know that we are going to continue to serve delicious, healthy and safe meals wether you decide to dine in, take carryout, or order for delivery through DoorDash (our only delivery partner).
We have been monitoring the situation with COVID-19 and we are following guidance from federal, state and local agencies, including the CDC and other health organizations.
As a member of the foodservice industry, we already have all the prevention systems in place and all of our staff is well trained in them, because keeping food and service safe is part of our daily routine and as professionals, we take it to heart.
We have taken additional more strict steps to make sure we keep you, our staff, our food, and ourselves safe.
We already follow the CDC’s tips for preventing infectious disease, at the restaurant and at home, and we invite you to do the same and encourage others:
Wash your hands and forearms frequently, with soap and lukewarm water, scrubbing well, specially the fingertips.
Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer when you cannot wash your hands.*
Avoid close contact with anyone that is coughing.
Cover your mouth and nose for coughing or sneezing with a tissue or a sleeve.
Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.
Clean and disinfect high-contact surfaces (door knobs, light switches,…)
Stay home if you are sick.
We would like to kindly ask you, if you have flu-like symptoms please stay home, avoid going out in public. If for this reason you need to cancel a reservation, we are more than happy to help you do it over the phone, our website or social media.
*Like most of you know, we are originally from Venezuela, and back there we lived similar situations before with shortages of basic products, so we learned some tricks on how to make our own, like hand sanitizer and other common disinfectants. We would like to share our tricks with you, so please make sure you follow our Facebook or Instagram pages.
Thank you for your friendship, support and patronage.
